Alec Oxenford is an Argentine entrepreneur and co-founder of the popular online marketplace, Letgo. He is also the former CEO of OLX, a classifieds website, and served as an executive at Naspers, a multinational media company. Oxenford was born in 1978 in Argentina and studied economics at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. He began his career in finance before transitioning to entrepreneurship and co-founding Letgo in 2015. Letgo quickly gained popularity as a platform for buying and selling used goods, achieving 100 million downloads within its first year. As of 2021, Letgo has merged with OfferUp to become one of the largest online marketplaces in the United States. Oxenford currently serves as a board member at OLX and continues to be involved in the tech industry.
